NBA Highlight Factory - On days when Prime Video has live NBA games, we are supported by the NBA through their Highlight Factory workflow in Secaucus, NJ. The Highlight Factory provides highlights to PVLS for all of the "out of market" games, so we receive 2 different duration highlights for games not produced by Prime. This typically consists of a Short Highlight around :45 seconds and a Long Highlight closer to 1:30. Additionally, the HL Factory sends us a Cut Sheet and a Shot Sheet for every highlight that they provide.
All HL Factory deliverables go into Iconik and are also pushed to the Encore EVS network.
Cut and Shot Sheets are automated into a Slack channel called pvls-nba-hl-factory-delivery and are accessible to production in real-time.

All communication with the NBA Highlight Factory team in Secaucus NJ is done over an intercom system, although there has been a lack of consistency in active comms usage all season.
Highlight Factory clips from the NBA can be located in Iconik within the NBA Content Collection, inside the 06_EDIT collection within the NBA-HIGHLIGHT-FACTORY collection.
There are 2 different versions of each highlight, an HDR version with an audio re-map and vertically raised video to accommodate the ticker. There is an additional version located in the SDR-UNRAISED collection that is native SDR and the video is not adjusted for the ticker. These are the native files delivered from the NBA.
