The predictive data that is provided from the PAVE team is now being mapped directly on the game clips in Iconik. This allows a user to locate all instances where the PAVE team generated predictive data within a TNF broadcast, so you can now identify all of these events within a game.
The PAVE predictive data available for the 2024 TNF games includes the following:
- CI - Coverage ID
- DA - Defensive Alerts
- PA - Pocket Awareness
- PH - Pocket Health
When viewing clips in Iconik, you can see the existing Next Gen Stats (NGS) data displayed as time-based metadata, with the PAVE data being displayed as comments. This allows both the NGS and PAVE data to be viewed simultaneously in Iconik and have the ability to relate data points across both types.
The PAVE data defaults to showing all instances where predictive data was calculated, but it does not indicate that the actual graphic was integrated or displayed on screen during the broadcast.
All PAVE integrations will default the Comment to a red color, which means that the data exists, but no visual representation appears in the broadcast. We are manually reviewing all of the PAVE data, so if a PAVE integration does appear on-screen in the broadcast, we are manually changing the Comment color to Green. The green color indicates that the integration appeared on-screen during the game.
