NWSL - Footage Delivery Workflows

NWSL footage comes in a few different ways during the week, these workflows are all broken down as follows:

Deliverables for NWSL games airing on Prime:

• Dirty and Clean Records - These are both copied from the truck EVS to an external hard drive each week. That drive is hand-carried back to LAX-35 and dropped off with Media Management. Drive is typically processed on Monday mornings and available in Iconik. The Dirty and Clean feeds are also routed into LAX-35 through .SRT and recorded in the EVS NEO locally, so that version is a backup of the Dirty and Clean copied at the truck.
• Melts - The truck melt is copied to an additional external hard drive as individual clips. That drive is hand-carried back to LAX-35 and dropped off with Media Management. Drive is typically processed on Monday mornings and available in Iconik. All melt clips from the NWSL on Prime game are automatically pushed to DLP once they are ingested into Iconik, so they will all be available locally on DLP storage.
• Net Return - We ingest the NWSL on Prime game from the Fire Stick each week, capturing the game directly off the Prime app. This will include all commercials, covering all sponsorship placement validation requirements.
• Edit Delivery to Truck from DLP - Edited clips ready for air will be delivered from DLP into Frame.io, where they will be downloaded to the truck EVS. The Frame.io project can be accessed here 
• Archiving - DLP will move a copy of the original camera media to a staging folder on the storage. The Media Management team will process into the ISG and make it available in Iconik.
• Additional Notes on NWSL on Prime games - We do not have any ISG’s set up at NWSL, so there are no automated workflows or drop folders between the studio and the truck. This is all done through hard drive transfers.

 Deliverables for NWSL Games not airing on Prime:

• Dirty/Clean/Melts - The remaining 6 weekly NWSL games are available in Media Bank to download. The Media Management team will access Media Bank on Monday mornings and download all 3 versions of the game (Dirty, Clean, Melt) and will ingest those into Iconik.
• DLP - We will automatically push only the melts for upcoming NWSL on Prime games to DLP so they can get those melts on their storage ASAP.
