EXAMPLES OF SEARCHES THAT WILL WORK WELL
"Lebron James Warm Up"
This search will work well with just his name since Lebron is a celebrity and well known enough where facial recognition will be supported.
"Can you show me reaction shots of Mikal Bridges (#25 on the New York Knicks)”
Good use of combining the player name, player number and team name.
"Franz Wagner, number 22 of the Orlando Magic, celebrating after a made shot. The camera films him in close-up and he shows his emotions"
Good use of combining the player name, player number and team name, along with specific details of what was needed.
"Drone footage of the Footprint Center in Phoenix"
Good prompt and details.
"San Antonio Scenics, night, arena, boots"
Good prompt and details.
"Jalen Brunson #11 of the New York Knicks getting hyped or praying pregame”
Good use of combining the player name, player number and team name.
EXAMPLES OF SEARCHES THAT WILL NOT WORK WELL
“NBC dirty NBA games 2025”
This will not produce any results. Twelvelabs needs a specific prompt based on a visual or audio description of what is happening in the video. This type of search should be done using traditional metadata filtering in Iconik.
“Phoenix Suns press conference Devin Booker”
We are not indexing any Press Conferences in TwelveLabs, so this search is not currently possible
"Dennis Schröder arrival shot from October 2025"
This will not work because Dennis Schröder will not be picked up in facial recognition, not well-known
enough. Additionally, TwelveLabs has no way to understand the date of when a shot was captured. That will
be available in the coming weeks when we enable metadata inheritance from the original clip.
"Lillard Portland"
Not enough specifics to get a quality search, need to be more detailed in prompt.
"Aryna Sabalenka"
Tennis is not currently being indexed in TwelveLabs, also too generic.
